Physical Education

 

EVERETT PHYSICAL EDUCATION PROGRAM 2010-11

The middle school physical education program provides students with experiences in a wide variety of activities. Most instructional units are three-weeks long to allow students many learning opportunities.

In each area of physical education, the critical elements for each motor skill as well as concepts and principles related to biomechanics, motor development, motor learning, and game tactics are taught. Cooperative skills and fitness concepts and activities are reviewed and practiced throughout the school year.
